We cannot say enough wonderful things about Little Folk House! Over the past year, we've watched our son's social skills, confidence, and creativity blossom in ways we never imagined.

Ms. Victoria and Ms. Vanessa are incredibly nurturing, patient, and loving. As parents, there is nothing more valuable than knowing your child is safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. We trust them completely and are so grateful for the environment they've created.

One of our favorite things about Little Folk House is that it's truly child-centered and play-based. Our son spends his days outdoors, exploring, creating, and learning through play. He comes home covered in mud almost every day—and we absolutely love it! The outdoor barn setting allows children to connect with nature, use their imaginations, and just be kids.

We also love the musical element of the program. Ms. Victoria's gift as a musician shines through as she sings and plays guitar with the children, helping foster our son's growing love of music.

Little Folk House has been such a special part of our family's life, and we already can't wait for our youngest to be old enough to attend. We are forever grateful for the love, care, and joy that Ms. Victoria and Ms. Vanessa bring to these children every day!

Little Folk House has been such a gift to our family. My daughter, Brody, has been attending since she was 3.5 years old, and the growth we’ve seen in her has been incredible. The play-based enrichment program fosters creativity, curiosity, and confidence in a way that truly honors each child as an individual.

Ms. Victoria and Ms. Vanessa genuinely care about not only the children in their program but also the families they serve. Their dedication extends far beyond the classroom. The parent nights they offer have been invaluable to me as a mom, providing insight into child development and helping me better understand and support my daughter through each stage of growth. One of my favorite things about Little Folk House is how they embrace children’s natural curiosity and encourage exploration—even when it gets messy! I’ve watched Brody’s creativity blossom because she is given the freedom to imagine, create, and learn through play in a nurturing environment.

We feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Little Folk House community. The love, support, and intentionality that Ms. Victoria and Ms. Vanessa pour into their program is truly something special. It is so much more than a school—it feels like family. Little Folk House is truly one of a kind, and we will forever be grateful for the impact it has had on our daughter and our family.

Miss Victoria has been such a special part of our daughter's preschool experience. When we made the decision to keep our daughter in preschool for an additional year rather than move her into a traditional academic environment, we wanted her to have more time to learn through play, build confidence, foster her creativity, and simply enjoy being a child. Miss Victoria helped make that year everything we hoped it would be.

She has the gentlest, warmest presence and a natural ability to make children feel safe, loved, and valued. One of the things our daughter loved most was the music that Miss Victoria brought into the classroom. Whether she was singing, playing guitar, or leading the children in songs, she created an atmosphere that felt joyful, comforting, and full of wonder.

What we appreciate most is how she truly embraces the philosophy that childhood is not something to rush through. She allows children the space to explore, imagine, create, and learn naturally through play. One of my favorite parts of pickup was seeing the children covered in evidence of a day well spent —paint on their clothes, dirt on their shoes, leaves tucked into pockets, and huge smiles on their faces. At Little Folk House, being messy is often a sign of a wonderful day, and Miss Victoria embraces that spirit of joyful, hands-on childhood.

What truly sets Miss Victoria apart is the relationship she builds not only with the children but with their families. She was always available to talk, and if our daughter was having a difficult day or struggling with something, it was never brushed aside. Instead, we were able to have thoughtful conversations about what might be going on beneath the surface and how we could best support her together. We always felt like we were part of a team.

The parent-teacher conferences were equally special. Rather than focusing solely on academic milestones or simple checklists, we left feeling like we had gained a deeper understanding of who our daughter is as a person. Miss Victoria truly sees each child as an individual. She recognizes their strengths, understands their challenges, and helps parents see how to nurture both. That level of insight, care, and attention is something you simply don't find in most schools.

Combined with the healthy snacks, outdoor experiences, music, and nurturing environment she helps create, Little Folk House feels like a place where children are free to be exactly what they should be—children.

We are incredibly grateful for Miss Victoria's kindness, patience, and genuine love for the children. The memories our daughter made with her will stay with us long after preschool is over, and we will always look back on this chapter with gratitude.

Our daughter is thriving at her first year of Little Folk House. Victoria’s vision has come to life in a beautiful and organic way. Our daughter comes home with her cup filled with joy, and always looking forward to another day of play and adventure in the school yard. We can’t wait to see what is in store as we enter our second year there in the fall. Vanessa’s parenting classes are an amazing resource as well and we are so grateful to call LFH our home!

Our experience with the Little Folk House preschool has been nothing short of amazing. It’s rare to find an environment that feels both deeply nurturing and intentionally enriching, but this program strikes that balance beautifully.

What makes it especially unique is the small, intimate group setting. It creates a sense of calm and connection that you can feel immediately. Victoria and Vanessa are incredibly present, guiding each child with genuine warmth, while truly seeing them as individuals.

Each day, the children are immersed in the outdoors and learning through exploration, curiosity, and play rather than rigid structure.

There’s a quiet confidence that comes from watching your child climb, create, observe, and problem solve in a natural setting. LFH is a thoughtful return to what childhood should be.

They lead with patience and presence, encouraging independence while fostering a genuine sense of community. My child has become more resilient, more imaginative, and noticeably more at ease in their own rhythm.

It’s not just a preschool, it’s a foundation. One rooted in connection to nature, others, and to self.

We are so happy we found Victoria and Vanessa and cannot recommend their program enough.

We feel so lucky to have been a part of the first year of Little Folk House! Victoria and Vanessa have created a welcoming and special place where every kid can explore, experiment and play. My daughter would come home telling me how she baked cookies in the mud kitchen, painted a family picture using oil pastels, created a boat that floated using tape, popsicle sticks, and a cork, played Go Fish with her friends, made play dough, planted vegetables in the garden and got to eat them for snack, and so much more.

The environment and materials they have are extraordinary, but what truly makes Little Folk House so special is the teachers. Victoria and Vanessa are two of the most loving, positive, patient and knowledgeable people. I will forever be grateful for how they made my daughter feel comfortable, loved, important, and capable. Little Folk House is truly a dream school for both kids and parents!

From the moment I discovered The Little Folk House, I fell in love with its philosophy. I was drawn to their commitment to preserving the magic of childhood and creating an environment where children learn through play, creativity, music, nature and meaningful relationships rather than pressure or rigid expectations. After meeting Miss Vanessa and Miss Victoria, I knew this was exactly the kind of environment I wanted for my daughter. I immediately felt comfortable trusting them with her, and that peace of mind has meant so much to our family.

Since joining The Little Folk House, my daughter has truly thrived. She has become more curious, creative, and confident. Crafts have become her obsession, and she absolutely loves spending time in the mud kitchen. She loves singing and making music, and she is genuinely excited about learning. Without any pressure or stress, her teachers have sparked a love of learning in her. She has become interested in the alphabet, started writing letters and her creativity has blossomed.

I’ve also seen incredible growth in her social and emotional development. She communicates more confidently, has developed a stronger sense of self and loves her friends and teachers. She genuinely looks forward to going to school every day.

The Little Folk House feels like an extension of our family. Enrolling my daughter here has been one of the best decisions we’ve made and I’ m so grateful for the love, guidance and care that Miss Vanessa and Miss Victoria have given her.

Little Folk House is not only every kid’s dream, it is the dream of every parent’s inner child. Ms. Victoria has created a truly authentic play based learning program that is rooted in researched based child-led learning through play. I’ll never forget at the end of the first day, all the kids came out with bits of paint on their hands and mud on their clothes with the biggest smiles on their faces and we knew we were in the right place.

Our daughter came in struggling with anxiety and a waning confidence. We were seeking direction on how to help her out of the fog. Little Folk House exceeded our expectations and was everything she needed and more. We were unsure how she would do with a new place but not only did Ms. Victoria and Ms. Vanessa meet her where she was at, they LOVED her for where she was at. What parent doesn’t want that peace of mind?

Over the past year she has transformed into a confident, full of wonder, hungry learner. We have watched this group of kids learn how to confidently communicate, deal with conflict and gain the skills to have healthy relationships without constant adult intervention. This place was an answer to our prayers and a safe haven for our daughter. Ms. Victoria is such a special role model for our daughter. The impact she had is lasting and will ripple through her life.

At Little Folk House their interests and creativity are allowed to run wild and free in a safe place with kind, thoughtful and gentle boundaries. The space is so dreamy, it feels like you are walking into another world. They can choose from the mud kitchen, painting, reading books in the club house, tending to the garden, singing songs, process art, pretend play, making forts, the list goes on.

We feel the momentum that this space has lit in her and we excitedly chose to continue this learning style at Little Folk House her Kinder year and break from the conventional path. We want our daughter to be a kid as long as she can. Not only does Little Folk House let her dwell in the wonders of childhood, they fiercely protect it.

Little Folk House has been such an instrumental part of my son’s social and emotional development. We have seen him grow so much in his ability to communicate with his peers and in his independence at home.

It is so comforting to us to know we are sending him to a space where he is loved and cared for on a deep personal level. We love the open communication we have with the teachers and the team approach they take to meet each child where they’re at and support them individually!
